PTO

I love my kids school system. I love it's teachers and administrators. I love how much they are involved in my kids lives even outside of school. For that reason, I am very active in the PTO. I am on the staff appreciation committee for those same reasons. Today, we provided a potato luncheon for the teachers. Being on the committee means I get to eat the food too. Yum! The teachers are always so appreciative of our efforts and claim over and over again how spoiled they are. It's a nice feeling to know that you are making someone else's day. This week we did the lunch because the teachers are in the midst of parent teacher conferences. It makes for some long days and nights for them and they never really grumble about it. I say our teachers rock!
